Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic senior designer to join our leadership team as Head of Design.

This key role will drive the creative vision, ensuring our design solutions are innovative, user-centred, and commercially successful. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Figma, a passion for art direction, a keen eye for user experience, and a solid grasp of consumer attitudes – and of course, a deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential. As a compelling leader, you will motivate and manage our design team, bringing out the best in each member and feel comfortable managing a team of two, with goals to expand it over the next couple of years. You will be reporting directly to the co-founders and working closely with the other department heads.

As we embark on our next phase of growth and big changes to our own visual identity, we are looking for a visionary Head of Design to lead and inspire our talented design team.

About You: You’re a natural creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit that resonates with our portfolio of brands. You might be looking to leave London and move to the South West, or already be here but struggling to find a senior creative role. Perhaps you’re a freelancer that misses the camaraderie of a wider team. You are always thinking of ways digital experiences could be improved and better reflect the tangible appeal of unique brand packaging and design aesthetics.

The Process: We really want this to be good long-term fit for our business and want to give you the opportunity to interview us as much as we’ll be interviewing you.

Once you have reached out and shared your portfolio and brief summary of why you’re interested in the role, there will be three stages to the recruitment process: A short (15-30min) video chat with our Co-Founder and MD – this will cover the basics of why you want to join, experience to date and a package overview. If we decide to move forward, you’ll then meet the second Co-Founder and Senior designer over video or in-person who will talk through your technical ability and portfolio in more detail. Finally, there will be a third meeting, in-person, that goes more deeply into topics covered by the first two.
