On-page SEO strategy for wellness media = 1,983% uplift in organic visibility

DOSE is a wellness brand targeted at healthy hedonists. Inspired by happy hormones (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins), this wellness media site aims to promote feel good content and experiences via online and offline channels and help people find balance. We were tasked with helping to provide an SEO audit and long-term on-page recommendations, as well as copywriting to ensure the content was being leveraged as effectively as possible in search engines.

New visitor numbers grew by +213%, while returning visitor numbers grew by 101%. The high new user growth could provide a good platform for audience retargeting & partner display ad opportunities. Bounce rates (% of single-page sessions in which there was no interaction with the page) improved massively with a drop from 76.77% to 38.25%, this is excellent and tells us fewer users are immediately leaving content without engaging. This is due to a more relevant audience finding the content and going on to read/click/scroll through it. Pages per session have also improved (1.61 to 2.17 pages per session), which backs up the improved bounce rate figures and indicates that your relevancy has improved.

SEO Audit

We were asked to help establish an SEO strategy and identify key opportunities to help improve the organic search visibility of DOSE. We started with an SEO audit to determine areas for improvement and identify the keywords that should be prioritised. This audit made it clear that meta details needed updated and meta titles & descriptions were provided for the top 20 pages.

Best Practice Content

A content checklist was provided to ensure best-practice was implemented going forwards with their team of writers. This document was clear in terms of the technical requirements for each article but also explained how important writing for user intent is.
