Through quantitative and qualitative data analysis we learned about the potential “gifting” messaging could have on shopping behaviour.
By creating a clearer separation between clothing and smaller items, and then recategorising these as gifts, we increased page views to this area of the site by 35% in four months.
In addition, we streamlined the cart > checkout flow by introducing a fly-out cart with “quick add” gift items pre-populated, thereby reducing the journey through to checkout. Combined with more transparent shipping costs on the product pages and centralising all colourways of a product into a single PDP page.
